VoIP overview

Buzport provides VoIP (voice over Internet protocol) telecommunications services. We are making full use of free services available with Internet. It works like this. For example, you want to make a call from phone A to phone B. A regular telecom operator will use mobile connections, land lines, wires and switches to put you through. Eventually part of the distance would be covered through Internet, which offers significant savings, but you will never know, and this savings will unlikely be passed to you.

At Buzport we are making maximum effort to maximize the distance that can be covered through Internet, and the corresponding savings are passed directly to you. We operate within a worldwide network of local operators who can connect your local telephone network (land line, or mobile) with the Internet. Usually this will be done in your home telephone network. Then a call from your phone A is switched to Internet somewhere very close to you, it goes through Internet all the way to point B, where it is switched back to phone B’s local telephone network. And voila, you get connected. The call travels through Internet most of the distance for free and is switched from and to land or mobile lines for little pennies. Our rates will be a pleasant surprise for you.
Buzport is global VoIP mobile operator

Our service is global by nature. You can call from any place in the world to any other place and the price will not depend on distance. The cost will only depend on availability and pricing of local gateways between the Internet and your local telephone network. This is why it is much cheaper with Buzport services to call between locations with highly developed telecom infrastructure.

Our system does the rest of work for you. Of cause, you have to install Buzport applet on your mobile, but you only do it once and the procedure is quick and simple.

Technically the call is placed through a call back routine to make the most use of savings. When you press a call button, your phone sends a signal (by sms or short data connection) to our server. Our server initiates a call to your phone in just 1-3 seconds. You pick up the incoming call (note that incoming calls are free in most places), our server calls your destination number and puts you through. The whole procedure takes no more time than a regular call.
